Recharge Power and RITdisplay jointly build a 60MW energy storage site

Today (15th) , J&V Group(6869)'s subsidiary, energy storage system integrator Taipower Energy, signed a contract with OLED and battery manufacturer RITdisplay Center and started cooperation on a large-scale energy storage project. The two parties will work together to build a 60MW (million watts) / 205.4MWh energy storage system with a total project amount of NT$3 billion. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2026. Together with subsequent maintenance and qualified trader services, it is expected to bring stable returns to J&V Group.

In order to achieve the net zero carbon emission target by 2050, the National Development Council announced 12 key strategies, among which power systems and energy storage are the projects that will be actively promoted in the next two years. Since its listing on the Innovation Board in March, J&V Group (6869) has actively rushed into the energy storage business. This year, it plans to build three of Taiwan's largest single energy storage sites with a capacity of 100MW. Two of them have already started construction, with a total installed capacity of 200MW. It is expected to be completed in the next two years. Through energy storage, renewable energy can become baseload power, which will help achieve grid stability.

Recharge Power and Enfu Capital cooperated on a 128MW fishery and power co-generation farm, becoming the first "PV+BESS" project in Taiwan

J&V Group and its subsidiary Enfu Capital held the "Opening Ceremony of Taiwan's Largest Fishery-Power Symbiosis Site" today (16). The site has a total installed capacity of 128MW and is expected to generate more than 3.7 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in the next 20 years, with power generation revenue of nearly NT$20 billion.

In addition, Yunbao Energy also achieved the goal of "integrating solar energy and storage" at the site. Together with its subsidiary Taipuwei Energy, it won the first batch of energy storage system combined with solar photovoltaic installation bids from the Energy Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. It plans to install a 6.2MW/22MWh energy storage system, becoming the first completed solar energy storage site in Taiwan.

Recharge Power Takes the Lead! Kaohsiung's 20MW Energy Storage System, the Largest in Taiwan, Now Operational

On September 2, 2022, Recharge Power, a battery energy storage system integrator, announced the completion and official energization of the energy storage system at the Taipower 's Luyuan Substation. With an installed capacity of 20MW, it is the first large-scale energy storage system at a substation in Taiwan, marking a significant milestone in maintaining the stability of Taipower's electricity supply.

As part of Taipower's energy storage plans, a total installed capacity of at least 160MW must be completed by 2025, including 140MW under the Transmission Business Unit. This comprises the Luyuan Substation's 20MW energy storage system, along with the Longtan Substation's 60MW and the Dongshan Substation's 60MW systems.

Kuozui Motors chooses Recharge Power for its first energy storage system

In line with the government's renewable energy policy and the development of Kuozui Motors's new business, Kuozui Motors Automobile selected Recharge Power to build an energy storage system at the Kuozui Motors Guanyin plant to participate in the Recharge Power trading platform frequency regulation backup dReg0.25 auxiliary service. Since its official launch on August 5, 2012, the energy storage system has performed well.
